Growing into our whole selves is a big job!  Kids need safe spaces to explore and wonder what it feels like to grow, and to belong to a community. We can help kids have the tools they need to navigate, with love, through this complex world and to be open to how God is weaving love all around us.  Fabric has gatherings that welcome everyone, just as they are, from newborns to teens, and partners with parents to help keep conversations going!

Got kids? Here’s what to do!

When you arrive, visit the check-in table located near the entrance.  There, parents should check their children in, help make name tags, and learn about any special happenings for the day.  Then everyone begins together in the Commons, singing, taking in the welcome and centering moment, and getting a chance to be community together.  At the end of the welcome, kids will be invited to head to their own spaces to wrestle with the big idea for the day in their own ways (ee specific locations below)! Towards the end of the gathering, children will return to join their parents for the closing songs and sending.

  • THE NEST | Children 6 months-3 years meet in the Nest, located in the Media Center.

  • THIMBLE TOWN | Pre-schoolers 3-5 years meet in Media Center (towards the back right)

  • SPINNERS & WEAVERS | Elementary age kids meet in the gym.

  • THE FRAY: MIDDLE SCHOOL | Middle Schoolers (6th-8th grade) meet in the gym.

  • THE FRAY: HIGH SCHOOL | High Schoolers (9-12th grade) are busy being leaders, helping at the tech table, playing in the band, leading in the children’s area and hanging out together taking the gathering.

Sometimes we gather all together. Here are some tips for making All Together Sundays the best they can be for kids and families.
